An Encrypted Language for Seduction

However, why should we use an encrypted language to communicate with other people? Wouldn’t it be easier and faster to use the oral channel that, besides, also assures an almost certain understanding of the content of the message that we want to send and relieves us from the duty of having to know decoding keys or other? In many situations, in effects, oral language is surely preferable.

If, for instance, we want to communicate to the person in front of us on the bus that we want him to move because we want to get down, it will be a lot more effective and fast to do so using words rather than try to make him understand our intentions with the only use of gestures and expressions

Nevertheless, there are circumstances in which the use of oral communication is not possible or convenient. One of these circumstances is when we want to communicate to another person that we are attracted by her or him.

In this case, being inconvenient for the previously seen reasons, to go directly to the point, that is, to send him or her unequivocal signals both verbal and non-verbal, we have to find a way to dissimulate this attraction through gestures, expressions and postures that are hardly perceivable from others and that, at the same time, communicate our interest to the interested person in an indirect and discreet way.

We have found therefore an effective way to transmit our more "sensitive" messages: body language. It still remains, however, the problem of the encryption keys needed by the recipient to decode those messages. He/she must be able to decrypt the messages, otherwise the content of the messages themselves won't be understood and the transaction won't succeed.

However, how is it possible that the recipient, that in most cases we don't even know, owns the correct decryption key that enables him to decode the message we sent? The truth is he doesn't need a specific decryption key for every single message or for all the messages coming from a same source.

For any nonverbal language signal, there are only a limited number of possible meanings even if everyone of them have to be pun in connection with the surrounding environment and with the preceding or following signals that strengthens, decreases or alters their meaning.

Therefore, once we have learned the meaning of the signals and how to interpret them, we have the universal decryption key that will allow us to send our messages to other people, being sure that the way we communicate them is consistent with the content, and to correctly interpret the messages that we receive from the others.
