How Women Select Their Partners
Using nonverbal language a woman has the chance to make a strong selection among the people that interest her and that possess the physical and behavioral parameters that drive her in the choice of the potential partner (even if , at this stage, it’s hard to think she can have an idea about the behavior and the nature of the other person).
This first selection happens basically on two levels. A rational
one, that manifests itself with the exclusion from the start of the people that don't possess the qualities she is looking for, her driving parameters (this includes, for instance, those that are not physically her type or those who are violent).
An irrational one, driven by biological and psychological factors that are usually beyond her will. On this level, for example, she may exclude those men who would approach her if she would send them signals of interest.
The fact that the men can explicitly answer to the signals sent by a subject of the opposite sex, can have a negative effect on the woman in that she may think that they can reiterate this behavior with all the women and consequently be potentially unfaithful and unreliable. A woman is generally not interested in this kind of contenders because they don’t have what she is looking for: emotional stability, economic stability and safety.
With these shortcomings they would not be good candidates as partners and, possibly, fathers because they don’t have what it takes to take care of her and of the offspring especially during the period when she gives birth to her baby, when the women is weaker and in need of help.
The best way to exclude the people that would not serve to the attainment of her objective, the search for a partner with which to start a stable relationship, therefore, is not trough the use of explicit signals or verbal language, but subtle nonverbal signals that reach exclusively the people that she has chosen excluding, at the same time, those she discarded at the rational level, because of their physical or behavioral characteristics, and those judged not compatible from her biological instinct, because, for instance, not reliable or emotionally stable.
The second selection is carried out among the people that have positively answered to the messages sent by the woman. Among them, she spots the one with the more suitable characteristics, the one that more than others is similar to the model of man she is looking for.
